Sacred Heart Academy's athletic program has a long and celebrated tradition of success in girls' high school sports with more than 70 state athletic titles. Athletic participation contributes positively to the development of our students in a learning environment that empowers and affirms the total development of high school girls.
More than 60 percent of SHA students participate in 14 sports including basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track and volleyball, which are sanctioned by the Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA), as well as cheerleading, dance, field hockey, lacrosse and crew which are club sports. SHA's cross country, swimming, and track programs have no-cut policies and are available to any student who wishes to participate.
